Pelosi gets smart...
Pelosi's taking the fifth. Finally, someone was able to explain to her that her continues statements and press conference were actually working against her. What a shame...
In our country, people are judged based on their record; on their achievements; on their history. When Barack Obama decided to run for President we knew little about his background and record and, I may add, the little we knew was not good. This includes his 20-year long affiliation with the United Trinity Church of Chicago and with the rev. Jeremiah Wright; his affiliation with William Charles Ayers; his affiliation with the corrupt Illinois political machine and his ruthless political ascend. Nonetheless, being an articulate, inspiring and exciting speaker, Obama was able to overcome all of this; to create what really amounted to a pro-Obama cult; and to raise an unprecedented amount of funds during his presidential campaign, to ultimately be elected our 44th President.
When Barack Obama was elected president in November 2008 I was full of optimism and hope in spite of my strong conservative views and Republican affiliation. To me, his election solidified my views that America is the land of the free where everyone had an opportunity and where the sky is the limit. I believed that Mr. Obama would strive to be everyone’s president; that he would respect those that had voted for him and those that had not; that he would be considerate of the complete gamut of philosophies and opinions in our country.
Well, I am disappointed! So are many other good Americans. Since taking office, our President has been pushing, relentlessly, an extreme liberal agenda.
Many of my friends have been emailing me Obama anecdotes which I continued to distribute to my Obama mailing list. Therefore, I decided to start this blog so that everyone has access to these postings.
Lastly, please note that when I post an opinion on this blog, it represents, exclusively, my opinion and definitely not the opinions of my wife Nickie Shapira,
