It looks like the White House’s respect for Geithner is dwindling fast. The Wall Street Journal reports that Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s Chief of Staff, has become increasingly involved in the inner-workings of the Treasury Department. “Rahm wants it” has become a mantra at Treasury. Treasury officials say that sometimes they have been left waiting for White House input – even on such mundane matters as website design…Good! I hope that Emanuel confirmed that Geithner paid his taxes two weeks ago on April 15th…
